An Inspiring Few Minutes With LENS ON NEPAL
25-April-2016

Here’s a short video that is worth few minutes of your time and it will definitely make you think about your position and contribution in society. Lens on Nepal is a video project led by communications student Jensun Yonjan exploring the work of inspiring leaders’ initiative to enhance Nepal’s education. The short video focuses on the work of Shin Chul Yoon and Wang Jung Lama.

Jensun is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree at the Central Connecticut State University in USA. Having known him through the Tracing Nepal experience in 2014, he not only made a delightful member of the team but was also a wonderful figure in the Tracing Nepal videos. With Lens on Nepal, Jensun has shown that he’s also a brilliant person behind the camera. Even though the earthquake had just happened in Nepal; I am so glad that he stuck with his original plans and came to Nepal and spent an entire summer in 2015.

For me, Lens on Nepal asks personal questions… it asks “what are you doing for Nepal”, “what are you doing to change your community”… it also asks me “what is change”, “how much can one person do”. It definitely raises questions, I hope it has the same effect on you.
